WE REMEMBER THAT THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN IN PORTUGUESE, NO ENGLISH VERSION, BUT THE SCALE IS THE BEST OF THE BOOK

The book "Images & Colors from Creation to Production" is a material produced with the highest quality control and finishing from its cover to the core.

It was produced with stitched hardcover, matte lamination and localized varnish, so your copy has the beauty and durability for everyday use. Its core was printed with three types of papers, all 120g and certified (Forest Stewardship Council), 48 pages of matte coated paper, 112 pages of glossy coated paper and 112 pages of offset paper.

These 48 pages, I describe the care of creation to the production of images and graphics, from its concept, exemplified comparisons, export, color management (using Brazilian graphic standards) and PDF generation. With precious Tips & Tricks on all the passages in the book that have been transcribed from more than 30 years of experience. ( Author )

And the cake cherry and production principle of this book, the C + M + Y + K Color Scale with 10% variation in 10% reaching 90% of the black color, are 112 pages printed on glossy coated papers and 112 pages on offset paper. And yet, on the last page of the scale, we bring the reproduction of Black "footwear", three shades of silver and three shades of gold.

Statements from Designers, photographers and graphic artists using the book Images & Colors

Bruno Lacerda

The biggest help the book gives me is to choose colors of visual identities, seeing on paper how they actually look printed.

The book is my big catalog CMYK.

Marcos

I am part of the Graphic Industry Union of the State of Mato Grosso.

I bought the book and I liked it.

Unfortunately few buyers responded to my request. As soon as our appeal is answered we will post your testimonials.

These are just some works developed in the +30 years of experience

Francisco Carlos Crevin, 53, graduated from Mackenzie University in Visual Communication in the class of 1985.

Working from his training in the area, which at the time was conventional with ink pens and airbrushes. He acted as a finalist, illustrator, designer, photographer and art director using the conventional tools. Providing services to Mercedes-Benz do Brasil (Technical illustrations of manuals of operation, maintenance and assembly, with German Mercedes guarantee); Toyota (parts manuals) among other smaller customers.

In the 1990s he acquired his first computer, a 486, and one of his early works, a 40x60 poster supporting Point of Sale, all illustrated in Corel 4, wins a star as one of the best technical illustrations in CorelDRAW International Design Contest.

From this moment, he transfers his knowledge from analog to digital and becomes a self-taught in the treatment of images and fusions, illustration and publishing.

It continues to provide services to large companies, now in digital process, as for Toyota (manuals); Seicho-No-Ie (editorial materials and illustrations); Abril Cultural - Manequim (Illustrations step by step); imaging bureaus and CTP's.

Today, as an art editor, producing magazines, books, image processing and creating infographics, the incessant quest for the new, the challenge and solving the "mysteries" of the graphic and prepress area continues. Culminating in the writing of this copy to heal the doubts of his day to day of Images & Colors.
